OUR founder's STORY
- Landed my first remote job in 2008 doing customer service for Toys R Us part-time when my daughter was 3 years old, which meant I didn’t have to choose between spending time with her and earning extra money
- In 2010, I was in the first class of at-home customer service agents at American Express
- I began freelancing as a Project Manager in 2013 and had clients from NYC, London, Costa Rica, and Chicago
- In 2015, I accepted a remote Project Manager position with a technology company based in San Jose
- I launched a long-term travel business in 2016 and took a group of people around the world for a year
- In 2018, I accepted an offer to work at a software consulting company under the condition that I be allowed to work remotely
- I've been teaching people how to work remotely since 2015
- I have an audacious goal to help 10,000 moms land remote work so they can show up for their families the way they desire.

Yes. Absolutely! There are companies out there that hire remotely all over the world.
If your work is done on a computer, it can be done anywhere! If you’re a surgeon or a train conductor, it might be tough (for now) but most jobs can be done from anywhere.
Of course you can! Not all remote jobs require a tech background and even if it was only tech companies who hired remotely, they would a lot of nontechnical people to run their businesses.
YEP! Most companies pay pretty competitively for the same roles as brick and mortar companies pay. I know there are exceptions but, in general, compensation depends on the company, the role, the location, your background and all the same factors that determine compensation at cubicle companies.
